LIBRARY REOPENING 
STARTING JUNE 15, 2020

HOURS: MONDAY – FRIDAY 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM

  • Masks are not required, but appreciated
  • Please remember the 6-foot social distancing rule
  • Because our library is so small, one family will be permitted to browse the library at a time
  • Children under 13 must be accompanied by a parent at all times
  • Two computers will be available. Time will be limited to 15 minutes when others are waiting
  • Puzzles will not be available for play at the library but can be checked out

Summer Reading Program 2020,  Imagine Your Story!

Due to the Pandemic our Summer Reading Program will not be held at the library; however,  we have planned a wonderful program that awaits you starting June 17!

How can I participate?

If you have signed up, just pick up your packet at the library starting June 17, Monday through Friday 2 PM to 6 PM

If you have not signed up, you can pick up one of the extra packets at the school with the lunches

Books/Magazines
– Register to check out
– Library’s collection supplemented by SCKLS Rotating Book Collection

Audio books
– Wide variety of audio books on CD
– Rotating selection of CD’s

Newspaper
Hutchinson News daily
– Stafford Courier weekly

Public Computer (with internet)
– 13 years or accompanied by a parent/guardian
– Sign a computer usage agreement form

Wireless Internet Service
– Guest account open to the public

Copies
– Black and white copies 10 cents/page

Microfiche
– Reader/copier
– Stafford newspapers, Kansas Census on file

InterLibrary Loan
– If we do not have the book you need we can borrow from other Kansas libraries

Reference Help
– Friendly staff to help point you in the right direction
– Kansas State Library cards are available to individuals
